Dayemi Foundation operates social welfare programs to meet basic necessities for underprivileged children, free education, vocational training, and empowerment opportunities; social development programs through health care education campaigns; awareness on various social/environmental issues; and humanitarian aid among the victims of natural disasters. Through its programs and campaigns, the foundation has reached several thousand direct beneficiaries and gained access to over half a million people in rural Bangladesh.
Dayemi Foundation envisions a sustainable platform where underprivileged children have the guaranteed opportunities of development that enables them to exercise their right to education, good health, right livelihood, social security and empowerment.
Dayemi Foundation is a Bangladesh Government-approved NGO having consultative status with the United Nations Department of Global Communications (UN DGC) associated non-profit, non-political volunteer organization that provides social services: shelter, health care, academic and vocational education, rural development empowerment, and rural humanitarian aid in rural Bangladesh.
The impact of Dayemi Foundation extends to more than 4,000 children through our orphanages and schools. Additionally, we have established various social enterprises aimed at empowering individuals, along with hosting numerous programs focused on social and environmental awareness – all contributing to the upgradation of rural communities in Bangladesh.
Our commitment involves supporting orphanages, academic schools, and vocational training centers through financial aid and administrative supervision. We strive to educate students, guiding them to realize their complete physical, social, and spiritual potential. Furthermore, we empower students and rural youth through awareness programs, progressive vocational training, and the promotion of social enterprises.
In September 2015, a historic journey commenced as 193 world leaders united with a visionary agenda. They created the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – ambitious and vital objectives aimed at addressing the most critical challenges facing our world today. These goals range from ending poverty and reducing inequality to fighting climate change. They show a global commitment to ensuring progress for everyone. They aim to leave no person or community behind.
Dayemi Foundation is at the front of this mission. It has worked closely with the United Nations Information Center Dhaka (UNIC). In a significant move to foster inclusivity, the Foundation has played a crucial role in translating the SDG’s icons and logos into Bangla. This initiative goes beyond just translation. It builds a bridge of understanding and engagement. It lets Bangladeshi communities contribute to shaping a better, more sustainable future.
By bringing these global goals closer to home, Dayemi Foundation is not only raising awareness but also inspiring action within local communities. This effort ensures that the voices of Bangladeshi people are heard and that they are integral contributors to the global movement towards sustainability and equality.
